Mitsuyuki Sakurai earned his sociology degree at Komazawa University in Tokyo before becoming the Director of Sales at Daimo. In 1975, Mr. Sakurai moved to the U.S. and earned a degree in computer science at Utah State University. After graduation, the Governor of Utah appointed Mr. Sakurai as a consultant in the Business and Economic Development Department of the State of Utah. Mr. Sakurai later became chief advisor to NuSkin, where he played a major role in the organization of their launch and brought significant public attention to the company over a short period of time. Mr. Sakurai was later asked to be president of Nature’s Sunshine and instigated a complete reorganization of the company, moving the company from deep debt to success. Mr. Sakurai also founded and initially led the Utah Business Council, and served as president of Japan America Society of Utah.

Mr. Sakurai joined Trivani in 2007 as Director of Japanese Operations, traveling frequently between the Utah and Japanese Trivani offices.
