Current Projects for Nepal

•    Biogas Digesters ($250): Help families live safer, cleaner, more productive lives and help save the Himalayan range by donating toward the construction of a biogas digester. Biogas digesters aid in the processing of hazardous waste materials into safe, environment-friendly energy and fertilizer. Biogas eliminates the need for families to spend time cutting firewood and thus reduces deforestation. In addition to producing fuel for cooking, biogas also produces a non-toxic, chemical-free slurry that can be used for fertilizer.

•    High School Scholarship ($375):  Change a Nepalese child's life by contributing to the Trivani Scholarship Fund. Every year hundreds of students qualify for secondary school. Unfortunately, very few students have the financial resources to attend and must cut their education short. Your donation will help pay for school fees, school materials, and books for a child for one year.

•    Medical Supplies and Equipment ($10,000):  Help provide medical supplies and equipment to a hospital facility in Chitwan, Nepal. This new hospital will provide care for hundreds of thousands of people living in Chitwan and its surrounding areas. These are underserved and impoverished populations who will greatly benefit from the low-cost and pro bono services offered at the hospital.

The Trivani Foundation Is Now an Official 501(c)(3) Organization!

On October 29, 2007, the Trivani Foundation received exciting news: we are officially a 501(c)(3) organization! Now all donations given by contributors will be tax deductible, so this is great news for you as well. It typically takes organizations years to gain 501(c)(3) status, but we received ours in a matter of months. What can we say...the stars are truly aligned for the Trivani Foundation and our cause.
