• 70 School Desks ($2,100): The Trivani Foundation has supplied funds for the construction of 30 desks in Kinagoni, 20 desks in Ndohivyo, and 20 desks in Kwa Kodogo. Now children in these villages won't have to sit on the floor and struggle to pay attention in class. • Mosquito Nets ($6 each): Protect a Kenyan child from malaria by contributing to the Trivani Mosquito Net Fund. Your donation will purchase an insecticide-treated bednet that will help protect a child from the malaria-carrying mosquitos. Your contribution will not only help protect a child but will also help control the spread of the disease by lowering the incidence of malaria-carrying individuals. Over 18 of 1,000 people will die each year from malaria in Kenya; most of those who die are children. Please help save a child's life by contributing toward the purchase of a mosquito net. • Yehu Women Micro-credit Loan ($75): Help Agnes Kitondo Muindi expand her fish business by providing a contribution for a micro-credit loan. Agnes is 37 years old and has six children. Due to her financial situation, she has been unable to save enough money to expand her business. Your donation will greatly help Agnes to increase her income-generating capacity and provide for her family and herself. Your donation will not only help Agnes, however. Your loan will also help many others seeking micro-credit loans, since each loan is given to someone in need, paid back by that person over time, and then given again to someone else. • Water Storage Tank ($2,200): Help provide a water storage tank and water catchment system for a school in Kenya. Rainwater is seasonal in this semi-arid region in Kenya. In the dry season, water can be very scarce, often requiring water to be carried great distances to the school. This water storage tank will help ensure the students have access to a reliable source of clean water throughout the year. • School Desk ($30 each) : Help improve the learning environment for children in Kenya by contributing to the purchase of a school desk. One desk will accomodate up to three children. Now children in these villages won't have to sit on the floor and struggle to pay attention in class. A school headteacher in Kenya recently commented, "enjoying desks is something they [the students] have never enjoyed since they have joined school." Your contribution will greatly enhance the learning experience for many students for years to come. • Special Equipment for Sean Michels Disability School ($1,500): The Trivani Foundation and other Donors has provided medical supplies and equipment for the Sean Michels Disability School. This school was specially designed to care for individuals with physical and mental disabilities in Miyani, Kenya.
