• Women's Center in Mnyenzeni: This women's center will save the lives of countless mothers and infants, since the center will provide women with pre-natal, natal, and post-natal care. In addition, the center will allow women to receive emergency care right in their own village instead of being transported the long and dangerous distance to the nearest hospital. The first phase of organizing and planning is complete. The next phase will be construction and training of health staff. • Micro-credit Loans: Trivani provides micro-credit loans to impoverished individuals, and they can then use the funds as seed money to start businesses like food stands, coconut presses, and tailor shops. Each loan is given to someone in need, paid back by that person over time, and then given again to someone else. • Water Storage Tanks: Trivani is working to help provide a water storage tank and water catchment system for a school in Kenya. Rainwater is seasonal in this semi-arid region in Kenya. In the dry season, water can be very scarce, often requiring water to be carried great distances to the school. This water storage tank will help ensure the students have access to a reliable source of clean water throughout the year. • High School Scholarships: Trivani is hoping to change the lives of Kenyan children through our Trivani Scholarship Fund. Every year, hundreds of students qualify for secondary school. Unfortunately, very few students have the financial resources to attend and must cut their education short. Our scholarship funds will help pay for school fees, school materials, and books for children for one year. • Sean Michaels Disability School: The Trivani Foundation is providing medical equipment such as walkers, crutches, and wheelchairs to the Sean Michaels Disability School, an institute designed for physically disabled, deaf, blind, and cerebral palsy patients. The school will currently under construction.
